Tony Honeycutt, Executive Director of Piedmont Rescue Mission, and his wife have long had a heart for the people of Kenya. For ten years, they served as missionaries there before the Lord directed them back to Alamance County in 2001.
While in Kenya, the Honeycutts helped with founding and establishing the Karibuni Baptist Church. Through this church, a Bible Institute was started for future pastors. The Church and Bible Institute continue to thrive today, bringing the word of God to unreached communities and providing hope where there once was none. Seven additional churches have been established since 2001.
Piedmont Rescue Mission is an active partner to the pastors in Kenya, providing encouragement and monetary support. We encourage you to join us in praying for the people of Kenya and the work that is to be done there. If you are looking to support international missions on a monthly basis, please contact us to learn more about donating.
